1.2562 is the name of one of the best cutlery steels that I have come across. It contains a very high percentage of carbon and tungsten, making it not only very hard but also very abrasion resistant. I laminated this steel as the core in between Refined Wrought Iron that came off an old wagon wheel. The handle sports a bolster of dyed Zebra Bone, G10, Bronze and Cocobolo. While being a small package, it comes with all the bells and whistles.
