This blade is definitely one of the finest to ever leave my shop. For the blade a high carbon steel 'Riverland' damascus cladding was laminated to an even higher carbon and tungsten core steel (1.2562) for the best possible edge and edge retention. The profile features a nice flat spot at the heel with a gentle rocker towards the tip and favors a push cut over a rock chop. The western handle is made from Ancient Redgum (carbon dated 6700 years old) and the most beautiful piece of Osage Orange I ever found. A spacer of vintage Micarta and G10 separates the timbers.
